Seattle, Washington – A 35-year-old Washington state man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder for the alleged killing of his 8-month-old son. Dion Lamar Montgomery is accused of shooting his infant son in the head while he slept in his crib, before deceiving his wife by claiming he had fired blanks. The incident occurred on May 8 in the 3000 block of 21st Avenue West.
Prior to the shocking act of violence, Montgomery reportedly fired multiple shots at two individuals on the street outside his home, for no apparent reason. This unprovoked attack led to additional charges for first-degree assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Tragically, the 8-month-old child, identified as Alaisea Matai Montgomery, was pronounced dead by emergency responders.
