Mohammed Al-Alawi “dared” to do his job and investigate the villa scandal. It seems that he really hit the hornet’s nest by revealing this information, as several news outlets reported that he was found dead near the El Hadaba road in Hurghada. Local police said that his body had numerous abrasions, fractures, bruises and a traumatic brain injury. The investigation has so far concluded that al-Alawi was beaten to death.
