POLICE have found the severed head and other parts of a woman’s body in a Paris park.
The dismembered body was found split between bags in the Buttes-Chaumont park in northeast Paris this morning.
The police are on the scene and waiting for forensic scientists to arrive to examine the gruesome remains.
The first body piece was found by gardeners in the park on Monday, who discovered the victim’s pelvis in a plastic bag.
It is too soon for police to know who the victim is or how and when the unidentified woman died as an autopsy of the body must first take place.
The Buttes-Chaumont park has been closed to the public since yesterday at 3pm as the investigators searched for more parts of her body.
